Emma Jean Andres, 84, of rural Alta Vista passed away peacefully at home Wednesday, June 24, 2020.  She was surrounded by family.  She was born August 10, 1935 in White City, Kansas to H. Leland and Clara (Pagel) Barber.  She married Neil Andres on November 23, 1952.

Jean and Neil worked together for 35 years operating the Andres Insurance Agency which served the Alta Vista, Eskridge, White City and Manhattan communities.  Jean loved taking care of their customers serving the community and “doing the books”.

Jean loved her family and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She was a blessing to many and will be missed my all.
