Terry L. Karmann

Terry Karmann left this world September 11, 2023, after a brief battle
with an aggressive cancer. Terry was born on November 24, 1946 in
Junction City, KS. His parents were Henry O. (Hank) Karmann and Minnie
M. McDiffitt Karmann. He attended schools in Junction City and
graduated with the great class of 1964 from JCHS. He spent 2 years in
the US Army and after finishing his service returned to Junction City
and met the love of his life Eunice Hughes Karmann (Nee Dever). They
were married in 1968 and celebrated 55 years together. They had one
daughter Shelly Karmann Olson.  Terry had five brothers: Walter
(Pete), Jerry, Marshall (Marty), Steve and Darrell, one sister Marsha
and one stepsister Mary Thelma Karmann. He also had an extended
family; two half-brothers Gary Turner and Gene Turner.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Peter,
Steve, Marty, Darrell, his stepsister Mary Thelma, his nephew Jeff
Karmann, his niece Tracy Karmann, his grandchildren Jordan, Bethany
and Faith.

He is survived by his wife Eunice, his daughter Shelly (Kenny) Olson,
his brother Jerry, Sister Marsha (Tony) Florido, half-brothers Gene
(Jaci) Turner, Gary (Terry) Turner, his grandchildren Sierra Reed,
Cheyenne (Lukas) Hawley and Isaac Nigus and his great grandchildren:
Zayne, L.J., Emmett and Everlee. He also leaves behind many nephews
and nieces who he loved dearly: Mark (Jayne) Karmann, Mike (Twila)
Karmann, Trent and Lance Karmann, Mike (Michelle) Shain, Derrick Shain
and Carmen Florido and many grand nieces and nephews.

Terry was well known for his story telling, silly songs, love of
animals, playfulness, yard sale purchases, generosity and need to feed
everyone who entered his door. He loved the outdoors and spent as much
time hunting, fishing, gardening, and driving the back roads of Kansas
as he could. He was a unique personality who will be so greatly missed
by so many people.

Terry chose to be cremated. Details about the memorial service will be
announced at a later date.
