Roy Watson Wiggans III

Roy Wiggins III, 67, of Delavan, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021.

He began his life on June 6, 1954 in Herington, Kansas. He was one of three children born to Roy Jr. and Eva (Cunningham) Wiggans. He grew up on the family farm near Delavan, Kansas.
Roy passed away at the farm where he had provided care for his father and mother until their passing.

He graduated from Council Grove High School with the class of 1972. He married Cris Borkert in 1974. They were blessed with two children, Levi Wiggans and Brandy Wiggans. His grandson Tanner Wiggans was his special buddy.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents Junior and Eva Wiggans and a sister, Sharon Nelson.

Survivors include his two children, his grandson Tanner and his sister Charlene Riffel (Ken), along with nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He has one living aunt, Julie Wiggans in Colorado.

If our sorrow is to be lessened by anything, it may be remembering the joy of loving and being loved by him.

A graveside service will be held at the Delavan Cemetery on December 22 at 2:00.

Guestbook

Say it ain't SOOOO.
Geez, Roy - one of the best of our class as far as 'Great Guys Go'!
Sweet Jesus, this was a kick in the gut & a rip in my heart.
You - the quiet unassuming dude in Glee Club, drama class & all of those backstage productions we put on.
Ya, we'd be farting around and miss a few 'Q's' for the curtain - lights & sound effects but OMG what a blast we had.
I did finally pitch that ole' football Jersey you'd given me, your numbers in the Blue & Gold - nothing romantically involved you'd just asked me what I wanted from that ole' place and you handed yours right over.
That moved you right to the TOP of THE CHARTS for GREAT GUYS - even if it was a minor theft issue attached. LOL
Prayers for your 'Happy Everafter' because I do believe that there are good places for guys like you - best wishes & sincere condolences for any family members you left behind.
as always - Rosie
