Michael William Tischhauser

Michael William Tischhauser age 68 passed away peacefully at home in Council Grove August 5, 2025. Born September 11, 1956 son of Wilmer Christian Tischhauser, Wilsey and Verna Marie White, White City.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother Marvin. He is survived by his wife Beverly Ann (Ward) Tischhauser of Council Grove; three children: Caryl Hale (Aaron Hale)of Norton, Kansas; John of Wilsey, Kansas; Scott of Council Grove, Kansas. He is also survived by three grandchildren: Starla, Allyson, and Miles, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and in-laws.

Michael grew up mechanically inclined on the Kansas farm in Wilsey. He had numerous hobbies but truly enjoyed being creative and working with his hands. Growing up well rooted and full of inspiration Michael took on many extra responsibilities such as EMT, sheriff's deputy, and building performance race cars while managing a trucking company started with his brother Marvin.

A friend, husband, father, and grandfather will be missed and loved. Services, courtesy Sawyer Funeral Home will be held at the Wilsey cemetery August 22, 2025 at 1 PM for friends and family.
