Kathy (Kathryn) Maxine B’Hymer

Kathy B’Hymer, 77, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Council Grove, Kansas.

She enjoyed camping, bingo halls, casinos, traveling, scrapbooking, Pickard “cousin” reunions, jigsaw puzzles, Phase 10, and crocheting. Notably, she did not enjoy cooking—at all.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne and Maxine Howell; her sister, Connie Robinson; and her husband, Jack.

She is survived by her three children and their families: TinaRae (Lancer) Scott, Liesa (Mike) Wecker, and her favorite son, Brett (Karen) B’Hymer. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren include: Haley (Brian) Otott and their children, Brenlee and Braxton; Hanna Wecker; RaeLyn (Jacob) Rice; Malorie Wecker; LaiCee Scott; Macy Wecker; Corbin B’Hymer; Sidney B’Hymer; and FinnLee Scott.

Cremation has taken place, and a private ceremony will be held later in the year at Elmhurst Cemetery in Guymon, Oklahoma.
