Glen Eldon Sisson, Jr., best known as “Fuzzy,” passed away on March 22, 2026, at the age of 76 in Council Grove, Kansas.
Glen was born in Herington, Kansas to Bonita Sisson and Glen Eldon Sisson (Pee-Wee). He attended school in Dwight, Kansas, and went on to live a life defined by hard work, independence, and a willingness to take on just about anything that came his way.
Self-employed for much of his life, Glen poured concrete, owned and operated a septic tank business and was known as a man who could fix, build, or figure out nearly anything. If something needed done, Glen was the one to call.
He is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Sisson; his children, Glenda Gowan and Tyler Sisson; his grandchildren; Dalton Gowan, Bentley Sisson, Lakyn Sisson, Wendye Phelps, and Kimberly Meers; and his great-grandchildren, Ella, Thea, Mattea, Gavin, Milo, and Jenna. He is survived by his sisters, Jean Kremeier, Jeanette Maas, Leona Wirtz, and Judy Kidd. He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Pitts.
Glen had a deep love for fishing spending time in his garage and transforming old vehicles into something special. More than anything, he cherished his family. Those who knew him will never forget his laugh, it was truly contagious and could light up a room.
A celebration of Glen’s life will be held this summer, with details to be announced at a later date.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
