Alan Dale Scott

Alan Dale Scott age 66 of White City, Kansas, passed away suddenly on October 2, 2024.

Alan was born on February 12, 1958, to Dale and JoAnn Scott of White City, Kansas, where he grew up and worked on the family farm. He later started working in the meat packing industry and took pride in the years he spent at IBP. As he grew older, he became an expert at Marketing and Sales. He loved the ability it gave him to travel and meet new people. In 2005, he moved back to White City to be close with his parents and raise his daughter Lia Scott. At that time his 3 sons Wesley, Travis, and Matt were already grown and started on their own careers and family. He continued to do Marketing until he retired in 2020.

Alan's prized possessions were his guitars, Harley Davidson, and his German Shepards Rev and QBurt.

Alan is survived by his 4 children: Wesley Scott, Travis Scott, Matt Scott and Lia Scott Santana; 12 grandchildren America, Adam, Alijah, Kaylee, Colton, Sawyer, Finn, Theodore, Shiloh, Adriana, Jameson, and Magnolia; and his 3 sisters Kristi Scott Donnelly, Linda Scott Johnson and Nancy Scott Patton.

Alan's favorite place to visit was Estes Park, Colorado, where his ashes will be ultimately laid to rest by his children.
